These Peanut Butter Chocolate Rice Krispies are the perfect treat to hit the spot for that peanut butter cup craving! Really easy to make, these crispy & chewy treats will be great for any occasion!

Ingredients:

  • 1/4 cup (56 g) butter

  • 1/2 cup (125 g) peanut butter

  • 5 cups (220 g) mini marshmallows

  • 6 cups (164 g) Rice Krispie cereal

  • 1 1/2 cup chocolate chips

Directions:

  1. Generously spray a 9x13 pan and set aside.

  2. Melt butter, peanut butter, and marshmallows in saucepan over medium heat, stirring occasionally.

  3. Stir in Rice Krispies and then spread evenly in 9x13 pan. Be careful to not smash the cereal down as you are spreading it out.

  4. Melt chocolate chips in the microwave until fully melted. Spread the melted chocolate chips on top of the cereal mixture in a thin even layer.

  5. Chill in fridge for 2 hours until the chocolate is set. Cut into equal squares and serve.

Notes:

  • For softer, chewier rice krispies, reduce the amount of Rice Krispie cereal to 5 1/2 cups.
